The issue of filling up of 10,029 vacant posts of LDC Recruitment-2013, which was withdrawn six years ago in the Panchayati Raj Department, is stuck in the Finance Department. On recruitment to these posts, the government needs Rs 380 crore in the first two years and Rs 350 crore every year thereafter. Fifteen days ago, top officials met on the process. The recruitment process can be increased only after the approval of the Finance Department.
