Jaipur . In the wake of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s budget announcement, the Department of Cooperatives has withdrawn recruitment for 715 posts in co-operative banks. It will recruit a large number of vacancies in both State and District level banks. On this recruitment, CM Gehlot said that the department has adhered to the budget announcement and it will provide employment to a large number of youth. Soon the recruitment of officers and employees in the banking cadre in Apex Bank, Central Cooperative Bank and Primary Land Development Bank will be completed.

The process for recruitment of 715 posts in Apex Bank and District Central Co-operative Banks is being initiated through Co-operative Recruitment Board. The posts of 6 Senior Managers, 12 Managers and 29 Banking Assistants will be recruited in Apex Bank. The District Central Co-operative Banks will recruit 102 Managers, 10 Computer Programmers, 553 Banking Assistants and 3 Stenographers. Co-operative Minister Udayal Anjana said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced early recruitment to the vacant posts in Apex Bank and District Central Cooperative Banks during the budget session. To give effect to the same, the Department of Cooperation has taken up recruitment. The recruitment process will be kept completely online. This will enable selection of eligible and outstanding applicants in a transparent manner. Any person with full qualification from the age group of 18 to 40 years can apply online on the website of the Co-operative Recruitment Board. The last date for online application is 6th October 2022.

The Registrar informed that the online examination for 715 posts is expected in November, 2022. The date of examination will be announced on the basis of the number of candidates on completion of registration by the candidates within the stipulated period. On completion of the recruitment process, the youth will be provided with employment availability as well as the efficiency of cooperative banks and better banking services to the farmers and the common man. After the formation of a separate Recruitment Board, Apex Bank in the Department of Cooperation has started the process of recruitment in Central Cooperative Bank and Primary Land Development Bank.

The question paper shall be of objective type with 5 multiple choices / alternates as answers out of which only one choice shall be correct. For every correct answer one mark will be awarded, however for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted. Those candidates who have obtained atleast 33% of total marks In the online examination shall be considered as pass. In case of SC / ST candidates, a minimum of 28% shall be considered as pass.
